What We Do
Everything between your decision and your licence.
Six disciplines, one team — so your market entry moves as a single project, not a chain of vendors.
Company Formation & FCIL
Establish your company online and structure it in full compliance with the Foreign Capital Investment Law — 100% foreign-owned, mapped to your activity licence.
Investment Opportunity
We identify and evaluate the strongest opportunity for your capital, sector, and goals — including free-zone incentives across Duqm, Sohar, and Salalah.
Investor Residency
Qualifying routes to the Omani Investor Residency Program — 5- and 10-year renewable Golden residency, prepared end to end.
Local Advocacy
Your advisor on the ground in Oman — we represent your interests before ministries and partners at every step, so nothing moves without you.
Banking, A–Z
Every banking matter handled end to end — account opening, capital evidence, attestations, and KYC files prepared right the first time.
Roadmap to Groundbreaking
A clear plan from first discussion through to breaking ground — we sequence every filing so your first trip to Oman is for signing, not queuing.
Why Oman, Why Now
The numbers investors move for.
*Ordinary corporate income tax in Oman is 15%. Free Zone and qualifying-activity exemptions depend on the specific zone, licence, activity and conditions set by the relevant authority — confirm current terms during your consultation.

Common Questions
Before you ask.
Can I really set up a company in Oman without visiting?
All initial steps can be completed online, allowing you to begin the process without the need to travel to Oman. We sequence everything so that any in-person step — typically banking — happens in a single, short visit.
Do I need an Omani partner to own my company?
In most sectors, no. The Foreign Capital Investment Law (FCIL) permits 100% foreign ownership across the large majority of activities.
Mainland LLC, SPC, or Free Zone — how do I choose?
It depends on where your customers are, your capital plans, and your hiring model. Free Zones (Duqm, Sohar, Salalah) offer tax holidays and reduced Omanisation quotas but are geared to specific activities; Mainland structures give unrestricted access to the local market. Our Pre-Arrival Roadmap includes a written comparison for your specific case.
What is Omanisation and does it apply to me?
Omanisation is the national workforce quota system: sectors carry minimum percentages of Omani hires. Quotas vary by sector and structure, and Free Zones often carry reduced rates. We map your headcount plan against the applicable quota before you commit to a structure.
How does the Investor Residency Program work?
Oman offers eligible investors renewable 5- and 10-year residency permits through qualifying investments, including:
- Real estate holdings (commercial or residential)
- Investments in companies with capital assets (new or existing)
- Government bonds
- Secure bank fixed deposits
- Stock market diversification
- Small / medium projects recommended by the government
- Accredited investment funds
Are you a law firm?
No — Gateway Oman is a market-entry consultancy, not a law firm. For matters that require licensed legal advice, we coordinate with independent Omani legal professionals as part of your engagement. Book your consultation.
